Eire 6 Landmark
The site serves to grow awareness of the wartime EIRE 6 sign on Howth East Mountain, and of the role played by the local volunteers of the Coast Watching Service. They staffed the look-out post throughout World War Two and constructed the EIRE-6 sign, contributing to the defense of Ireland's wartime neutrality.
